Hi,

My passion for making nappy cakes began when I tried my hand at making one for my cousin's baby shower, I'm pleased to say that they have improved dramatically since that first attempt! Nappy cakes (diaper cakes) as they are known are huge in the US and are becoming increasingly popular in the UK. Whilst taking time out from work when my son was born, I decided it was the ideal oppurtunity to unleash my creative side and turn The Baby Bakery vision into reality.

I absolutely love making nappy cakes and it really gives me great pleasure to create a cake knowing that it will bring a smile to a new Mum's face. As a Mum myself I know what a mixed array of gifts you can receive when your child is born, so a lot of thought goes in to what the cake contains to make sure every aspect of the cake is both practical and useful.

My aim is to provide you with a prompt, professional service and equally important a gift that the new Mum will love. I am constantly trying out new ideas and strive to offer you a unique selection of cakes.

Once gift wrapped this really does put the "icing on the cake". Unfortunately the images I have taken do not do the cakes justice but they do truely look spectacular. They arrive in a huge floristry box which is a surprise in itself for the unsuspecting Mum.
